Talk honestly about money

Saving money will only work if both of you are in agreement on how to proceed.
This also applies to aging parents
The reason we dont talk about money is because it is socially not done, but it is iportant to do it.
What dreams/goals does your partner have?
What are your children expecting from you financially?
How about your extended family?
Your close friends? do you owe them money or vice versa? Are the influencing you into good or bad financial choices?
Data is the enemy of lies - get teh relevant data ready.
Honesty is the best policy
Avoid getting too emotional - take a break if necessary
follow up if there are any hurt feelings
Follow up on any actions that need to be done
